Every year is the Year to Light Up Your Dreams at Disneyland® Resort Paris - Go ahead: live a little, dream a lot. From April 2007- March 2008, Disneyland® Resort Paris celebrated their 15th birthday with the biggest party ever, and everyone was invited!

Now more Disney characters than ever before are waiting to meet and greet you in special locations added especially for the anniversary. Plus see your beloved Disney stories spring to life in the all new Once Upon a Dream Parade and enjoy their two new attractions that opened in June 2007 in Walt Disney Studios® Park - Crush's Coaster and Cars Race Rally ride. And for the grand finale: Sleeping Beauty Castle lights up the sky (with a little help from Mickey and friends) with ribbons swirling and flags waving, Go ahead; join in the ceremony - its party time!

A celebration like this only comes once every 15 years - this really is the year to be there!

Disneyland® Resort Paris is a family holiday and recreation resort in Marne-la-Vallée, well in the suburbs of Paris, France, featuring two theme parks, Disneyland Park and the Walt Disney Studios Park. It was only the second Disney resort to open outside of the United States, following Tokyo Disney Resort®. With an astounding 12.4 million visitors in the first year (2004) Disneyland Resort Paris is now one of Europe's main tourist destinations.

Disneyland Resort® Paris is owned and operated by a French company Euro Disney S.C.A., a public corporation of which just under 40% of the shares are held by The Walt Disney Company, 10% of Disneyland® Paris stock is held by a Saudi Prince with other shareholders holding just over 50%.

Following the headline Monsieur Mickey or Señor Miqui?: Disney Seeks a European Site." in Business Week, July 15, 1985 - During the planning stage, (alphabetically) France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom were considered as possible Disneyland Resort® locations. The United Kingdom and Italy were eliminated as they both lacked a sufficiently "large expanse of flat land" suited for the planned resort.
